Mental Health Workshop for Youth
On 13 February 2026, at the premises of the Red Cross of the Republic of North Macedonia, the Center for Mental Health and Psychosocial Support conducted a workshop on mental health and psychosocial support in crisis and emergency situations, intended for members of the working group of the youth initiative for mental health.

The workshop aimed to enhance the knowledge of young volunteers on the importance of mental health and to strengthen their capacities to provide psychosocial support in crisis situations. Through interactive presentations, discussions, and practical exercises, participants were introduced to the basic principles of psychosocial support, recognition of stress reactions, and methods of self-protection and supporting others.

The workshop was attended by 18 volunteers from 11 Red Cross branches, who demonstrated high interest, active participation, and readiness to apply the knowledge gained in future activities planned under the action plan.
The implementation of this activity represents a significant step toward enhancing youth participation and strengthening local capacities for mental health support within the community.
